Welcome to Wakabal

Wakabal??  When my son was 2 and trying to figure out what his dad was doing with those sticks in his bag, that was his first word for golf – wakabal.

He’s 11 now, but I’ve never forgotten that word.  It reminds me of why I teach people this game – so they can have fun!

You Don’t Need to Join a Private Club…

to get quality golf lessons from a Class A PGA Professional.  If you’re in Herndon, Reston, Sterling – really anywhere in Loudoun or Fairfax counties, you can come out to Woody’s Golf Range on Route 7 in Herndon and take lessons from Kevin. 

We All Want to Hit the Golf Course...

But the Golf Course can be challenging if your golf game is rusty. Come to the driving range, shake out the cobwebs, and talk to Kevin about golf lessons. You’ll enjoy the golf course a whole lot more when your ball finds the fairway and sails over the hazards.

Whether you’re a beginner looking to just make contact, a duffer looking to straighten out that slice, or a low handicapper needing to hit those wedges closer to the hole, I’m going to work with what you’ve got.  What good are golf lessons if you go home frustrated?  We’ll pick one or two things to work on, you’ll get results and you’ll have fun!
