Wakabal?? When my son was 2 and trying to figure out what his dad was doing with those sticks in his bag, that was his first word for golf – wakabal.
He’s 11 now, but I’ve never forgotten that word. It reminds me of why I teach people this game – so they can have fun!

We All Want to Hit the Golf Course...
But the Golf Course can be challenging if your golf game is rusty. Come to the driving range, shake out the cobwebs, and talk to Kevin about golf lessons. You’ll enjoy the golf course a whole lot more when your ball finds the fairway and sails over the hazards.
Whether you’re a beginner looking to just make contact, a duffer looking to straighten out that slice, or a low handicapper needing to hit those wedges closer to the hole, I’m going to work with what you’ve got. What good are golf lessons if you go home frustrated? We’ll pick one or two things to work on, you’ll get results and you’ll have fun!
Take a look at our lessons options. Call Woody’s at 703-430-8337 and ask to schedule a lesson with Kevin. You’ll be glad you did.

Get a Grip
Ever play an instrument? The first thing you learn is how to place your hands properly. Same with a golf club…feel and consistency are the keys.
Place the club across the palm in the glove hand, and in the fingers of the non-glove hand. That's a good start.
